Schererville, IN (Thursday, June 18, 2020) – Campagna Academy, is pleased to announce a charitable contribution in the amount of $1,000 from the Schererville Police Department & Schererville FOP Lodge 170. GARY and SCHERERVILLE, INDIANA -October 1, 2019 - The Crisis Center, located in Gary, Indiana, and Campagna Academy, located in Schererville, Indiana, have entered a strategic leadership agreement that will permit both agencies to expand services to improve the lives of at-risk youth in Northwest Indiana, now and far into the future. Campagna Academy’s 9th Annual Foster Conference Achieves Its Goal

Campagna Academy successfully hosted its ninth Annual Foster Care Conference April 27 at the Patrician Banquet Center 410 U.S. 30 in Schererville, IN from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The conference was filled with over 300 attendees eager for more knowledge about the common trends and topics involving fostering. The conference gave the attendees the opportunity to connect with one another, share stories and learn new techniques on how to care for their foster youth. Getting Strong & Giving Back

At Campagna Academy Getting Strong & Giving Back is a core component of our programming. We encourage our youth to give back to their community through volunteer and community impact projects. This year the youth of Campagna have selected Compassionate Canines to partner with for “It’s All About The Pet Event”.  Our kids are working hard planning out details for the event. In celebration of Foster Care Awareness Month in May Campagna Academy is hosting our 9th Annual Foster Care Conference on Saturday, April 27th at the Patrician Banquet Center 410 U.S. 30 – Schererville, IN from 8am-4pm. Campagna awarded 35 Trees by NIRPC CommuniTree Program

Schererville, IN  -  Campagna Academy is excited to be a grant recipient from Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission’s CommuniTree program. The grant will provide 35 trees that will be planted on Campagna’s 47-acre campus in Schererville. “Our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be working with Campagna’s partner, Planting Possibilities, a local non-profit that will train and supervise our youth as they plant the trees on our campus. Campagna Academy is the recipient of Caesars Foundation Donation

Schererville, IN - Horseshoe Casino Hammond recently selected Campagna Academy to be the recipient of their 2017 Hero Volunteer Project. Caesars Foundation donated $10,000 to fund the volunteer project at Campagna Academy. Almost fifty volunteers from Horseshoe embarked on a two day renovation project in one of their residential cottages that serves boys with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Horseshoe employees volunteered their time and talents to remodel the kitchen and bathroom with new countertops, cabinets and fresh paint.  Their client’s bedrooms also received new vinyl window coverings and handmade closet coverings.  The volunteers…Read more
