As CEO of Campagna Academy, I am grateful for you, our donors, volunteers, and community partners, for all your support. I consider Campagna to be especially fortunate for our dedicated, generous board members who give their time, talent and resources to support the mission of “Restoring Hope and Building Dreams” for disadvantaged youth in our community.
The holiday season can be a difficult time for those with feelings of loss, anger, and loneliness who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. However, with help from our skilled, compassionate staff, small miracles happen every day, and our kids find the courage and resolve to overcome enormous life challenges.
I have seen our programs increase significantly over the years, and we will be providing gifts to more than 150 youngsters this holiday season. In the spirit of the season, please consider the many ways you can help – from baking holiday cookies to volunteering, from purchasing toys from our holiday wish list to making a donation.
If you can be one of those “angels” to a child in need this year, please bring your donations to our Administration Building on the south end of our campus at 7403 Cline Ave. in Schererville, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
So that donations can be properly processed, sorted, and wrapped, we ask that they be brought to Campagna by Dec. 10. Kindly note on your check if you wish a monetary donation to be applied toward holiday gifts.
