Campagna Academy is hosting a very special spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in the gym, 7403 Cline Ave. (South Entrance), to honor Campagna Academy’s founder, Msgr. Michael Campagna. We will celebrate both Father Campagna’s legacy and his birthday, as well as our organization’s 68-year history of Restoring Hope and Building Dreams for at-risk youth and their families.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 9 and younger through Sept. 10, and $10 for adults at the door. Purchase tickets by calling (219) 322-8614, ext. 453.
Father Campagna taught us that with determination and strong faith, everything and anything is possible in making a positive difference in the life of a child in need.
In addition to celebrating Father Campagna and his legacy, we will also honor our volunteers to thank them for their dedication to our mission and vision. We are proud to acknowledge their outstanding dedication and achievement in giving back to the community and enriching the lives of youth.
In 2014, we had more than 300 volunteers donate more than 3,200 hours filling a variety of essential roles, from fundraising/event-planning to tutoring and administrative support to construction work, painting and/or gardening to weekly shopping trips. Their precious gift of time at Campagna has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our children and families.
As we address the power one individual has to create ripples of change. . .ripples of hope in our communities, I encourage you to consider sharing your time and talents at Campagna Academy by filling one of many volunteer opportunities.
This can become a way to explore your interests and passions, while providing renewed motivation/vision into your personal and professional life. Especially as our programs expand, the need grows for your help. Please visit www.campagnaacademy.org or contact Beth at (219) 322-8614, ext. 332.
I look forward to personally thanking all of our volunteers Sept. 17 for their dedication to our mission restoring hope and building dreams.
