Schererville Police & Schererville FOP Donate To Campagna

Schererville, IN (Thursday, June 18, 2020) – Campagna Academy, is pleased to announce a charitable contribution in the amount of $1,000 from the Schererville Police Department & Schererville FOP Lodge 170. The Schererville Police designated the donation to support a project or event of our kids’ choice. Our Residential Student Youth Council Members which are representatives of each unit/cottage will be meeting this month to select what campus project they will fund with this generous donation.

“In 2017, Campagna Academy started a collaboration with the Schererville Police Department and invited them to join us as resource officers on our campus. The officers serve as mentors and they lend much needed emotional support to our clients. They help our youth to believe in themselves and see that their futures are bright.  This collaboration provides an avenue to change future generations and mind-set with positive interaction with law enforcement. The positive impact our resource officers have on our youth will last well after they complete treatment and leave our campus. We are so thankful for the Schererville Police Department for not only their investment of time but their financial investment in our kids and their future” shared, Elena Dwyre, CEO of Campagna Academy.
