CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) Update 3.20.2020
March 20, 2020
Dear Friends of Campagna Academy & The Crisis Center,
We at Campagna Academy and The Crisis Center understand the concern over the spread of CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) throughout the country and here in our own backyard. As you can well imagine, Campagna Academy and The Crisis Center, are organizations that touch the lives of hundreds of children each day, are being faced with many difficult decisions amidst the unfolding information and impact of the COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of our clients, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority.
I’d like to take this opportunity to reassure the community that we are doing everything we can to mitigate the risks and keep our staff, volunteers, and the children and families we serve safe and healthy. For the past several weeks, Campagna Academy and The Crisis Center’s leadership team has been monitoring the progress of the COVID-19 virus. We have increased the frequency and intensity of our surface disinfection, throughout each of our program and office sites, and hand sanitizer is our new “best friend”! Our nursing and doctors on staff will continue to check in and “screen” those we are privileged to serve, to make certain that they and their family members are healthy, prior to any admissions, or scheduled appointments.
Campagna Academy and The Crisis Center will remain open. We are adhering to social distancing guidelines by limiting the number of staff, volunteers, and clients for meetings, gatherings and events as well as postponing or cancelling where necessary. All of our amazing leaders and staff are helping us make certain that our vital services continue during these challenging times, while still doing all we can to keep our staff, and all of those with whom we come in contact, safe and healthy.
If you would like to partner with us to purchase groceries, medication, or cleaning supplies, please contact us at 219-316-4478, you can ship items from our Amazon wish lists or donate online at www.CampagnaAcademy.org or www.crisiscenterysb.org.
